D.C. United Recap: 7/21 2-2 at Chicago Fire FC

D.C. United was on the road at Soldier Field in Chicago taking on the Chicago Fire FC. The two clubs played to a 2-2 draw in their 14th MLS match of the season. The Black and Red found themselves down by two goals in the final minutes but a goal by Kevin Paredes and a penalty kick shortly after by Ola Kamara gave United an important point on the road. It improves their record to 5-7-2 with 17 points.

Chicago scored the lone goal of the first half with a header from Gaston Gimenez in the 32nd minute. They doubled their lead in the 61st minute on a deflection off Andy Najar.

D.C. United got on the board thanks to Kevin Paredes in the 83rd minute. The equalizer came four minutes later on a penalty kick from Ola Kamara.

D.C. United will be back in action against the New York Red Bulls at home at 8 p.m. on NBC Sports Washington.
