D.C. United looks to bounce back against Inter Miami CF
After a 2-1 loss to the Colorado Rapids to open the 25th MLS season, D.C. United will look to bounce back on their home pitch against Inter Miami CF. Kickoff from Audi Field is at 3:30 and you can catch the game on Univision. Russell Canouse scored the lone goal for the Black and Red in the loss. A few days afterward the club signed him to a three-year contract extension to remain with the club through 2023.
“Russell has been an integral part of the club’s success over the last two and a half seasons. His competitive influence and versatility combined with his high soccer IQ have been invaluable to our group. We are delighted to extend his contract and look forward to more game-winning contributions in the future,” said D.C. United GM Dave Kasper in the press release.
Miami is coming off a 1-0 loss to LAFC so both clubs will be hungry for their first win of the season tomorrow afternoon.
