D.C. United Hosts NYCFC on Easter Sunday

After a big bounce back win in Colorado last Saturday, D.C. United returns to the Audi Field pitch this afternoon. They’ll take on the winless New York City FC. Entering with a 4-2-1 record, D.C. United looks to keep afloat on the top of the Eastern Conference standings.

D.C. United’s 3-2 win in Colorado last week was a bounce back from a loss against LAFC and a scorless draw against the Montreal Impact. Both of those setbacks came at home and both times the Black and Red couldn’t score. It featured the MLS debut of Donovan Pines and Jalen Robinson and Chris Durkin made their first starts of the season. All three players are homegrown signings.

NYCFC is searching for their first win as they enter this Easter matchup with an 0-5-1 record. They’re coming off a 3-3 draw against Minnesota United and they also took part in a scoreless draw with the Black and Red at Yankee Stadium in the second game of the season.

Kickoff is at 4 p.m. and you can catch the game on ESPN.
