Colby Williams to miss outdoor classic due to suspension

Hershey Bears defenseman Colby Willams has been suspended for three games because of an illegal hit to the head of the fifth highest scorer in the AHL Danick Martel in a game at Lehigh Valley on January thirteenth.

According to theahl.com Williams was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 21.1 after being assessed a match penalty. Williams missed Hershey’s game against the Phantoms at home this past Sunday, and will also miss Hershey’s game Wednesday at Springfield and Saturday’s Outdoor Classic against the Phantoms.
