Charges against Thompson dropped

Earlier this offseason Deonte Thompson was arrested for suspicion of marijuana position, those charges have now been dropped. I wrote earlier that Thompson and the other Baltimore Ravens players that have been arrested was causing a distraction for the Ravens.

Now that Thompson’s charges have been dismissed I predict that the NFL will go very easy on Thompson. From what I gathered from the story it seems like Thompson might have just been in a car with people having marijuana. Keep in mind that Thompson has never failed a drug test.

Thompson will have a battle to make the Ravens this season especially if the Ravens draft a high-round receiver. Thompson has very good speed and good hands but has struggled to stay healthy because of his small size.
