The easiest thing to do would be to criticize the officiating for their, seemingly biased but mostly just incredibly inconsistent, foul calling. Wizards pull away late to take Game One

wizardsIn an energetic start to the series the Washington Wizards take Game one from the Bulls in Chicago. The game was closely contested throughout the night with the Chicago Bulls taking a six point lead into the half and opening up a 13 point lead early in the 3rd quarter before the Wizards mounted a comeback resulting in the victory 102-93. The teams seemed fairly evenly matched throughout the game but a quick review of the box scores leads me to believe the Wizards hold the edge in this series. Wizards Playoff Preview: Setting the Stage for the Future

File:John Wall pregame shooting.jpgMost experts believe the Eastern Conference champion will be either the Miami Heat or the Indiana Pacers. This has been their belief since the beginning of the year and because of that it seems most are overlooking the rest of the conference. That’s too bad. They have missed out on the fabulous story of the Washington Wizards.

The Wizards come into this playoff season as a team on the rise whereas the rest of the top teams in the East have either peaked or are in decline.
