The Baltimore Orioles have recalled Kevin Gausman and designated Ramon Ramirez for assignment. Gausman was at Class-A Aberdeen while the Orioles were waiting for his option time to be over. The Baltimore Orioles have selected the contract of Ramon Ramirez and optioned Evan Meek. The Orioles are short in the bullpen and Meek has been ineffective. Reimold to start rehab at Bowie

Baltimore Orioles outfielder Nolan Reimold has been assigned to double-A Bowie to start his rehab assignment.  Reimold has been recovering from a neck injury and has been slowly recovering.  Reimold is often forgot of because he has had so many injury problems.  At one time Reimold was considered one of the Orioles best hitting prospects. …

Orioles activate Stinson option Brach

The Baltimore Orioles have activated Josh Stinson from Triple-A Norfolk and have option Brad Brach. The Orioles have also moved Johan Santana to the 60-day disabled list. Orioles make a bunch of roster moves

The Baltimore Orioles have made a series of roster moves today before starting a three-game series with the Oakland Athletics.  The Orioles placed Miguel Gonzalez on the 15-day disabled list and optioned Preston Guilmet to Triple-A Norfolk.   The Orioles recalled Evan Meek and and Tim Berry both are pitchers. Orioles select the contract of Santana and place him on the DL
