Len Bias to be Inducted into University of Maryland Athletic Hall of Fame

len-bias-t1_crop_650x440 The University of Maryland athletic department announced today that they have selected eight alumni to be introduced into the University of Maryland Athletics Hall of Fame including Maryland basketball legend Len Bias. Bias along with the seven other alumni’s will be officially inducted into the Maryland Athletic Hall of Fame on October 3rd.

Terrapin Freshman Center Trayvon Reed Fractures Ankle; Miss 8-12 Weeks

TrayvonReed The Terrapins basketball program have a big time freshman class coming to the team this year as five of the players on the roster will be freshman however none will be bigger than Trayvon Reed and I do mean bigger. Reed stands at a towering 7’1’’ and since he is only 18 years old he can be expected to grow even more as he plays for the Terps in the upcoming seasons. However the Terps big man will have a setback this offseason as Coach Mark Turgeon announced that Reed had been diagnosed with a fractured right ankle.
