Redskins laugh at Manziel's gesture

OrakpoJohnny Manziel flipped off the Washington Redskins bench on Monday Night Football and the reaction from the Redskins players was actually pretty funny.  Here is the story on Manziel and his middle finger salute. The Redskins’ defense was apparently taunting Manziel mentioning how he is playing in the NFL and guys are faster now, according to this story by ESPN. Washington holds off the Browns 24-23

browns redskinsWhen I was growing up I remember often hearing after a non-call in a game that a penalty could be called on every play from scrimmage so sometimes the refs would just have to let things go. Apparently, the new adage is a penalty could be called on every play, so call that penalty. Yellow flags littered the field to start the Monday night match-up between the Washington Redskins and the Cleveland Browns which really prevented the development of any sort of rhythm or flow to the game. Manziel giving FedEx Stadium the middle finger

The National Media has been in love with Johnny Manziel, aka “Johnny Football”, for years and I have been saying all along that I think he is going to be a huge bust at the NFL level. Well, during the Washington Redskins/Cleveland Browns game on Monday Night Football, Manziel proved that he does not have the class or maturity to be an NFL quarterback. Manziel gave the entire FedEx Field crowd the middle finger during just his second preseason game. There must be a problem with the water in Cleveland since earlier in the offseason a Browns fan urinated on Art Modell’s grave. Read more about Johnny Football flips off DC

Can Alfred Morris stay productive?

The Washington Redskins have relied on their running backs for many years. In 2012 the Redskins selected Alfred Morris in the sixth round. In his first two seasons Morris had over 1,000 yards in each season and 20 total touchdowns in his career. The last two years Morris has the second most rushing yards only behind Adrian Peterson.  After becoming a well known player in his rookie year Morris made his first Pro Bowl in the 2013-14 season. How deep is the safety position for the Redskins?

The Washington Redskins had a weak spot at safety last season. That may change with the addition of Ryan Clark the former Pittsburgh Steelers safety. Bringing in Clark was a smart decision for the Washington Redskins as he played all 16 games last year, over 100 tackles, and he’s a great leader for the Redskins younger safety’s.

The Redskins still have Tanard Jackson who was suspended last year. Jackson can still help the Redskins with his hard hitting ability and the great hands he has.
