Orioles and Nationals are in the top five of ESPN's Power Rankings

BattleBeltwayThe Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals are both in the top five of ESPN’s Power Rankings.  The Nationals are at number three after having two straight sweeps and the Orioles are number five again.  The Orioles would probably be ranked higher than the Nats if the Nats did not have such a good week.  The Orioles have only lost two series since the All-Star Break and have a four and one record against the Nats.  Read more about Orioles and Nationals are in the top five of ESPN's Power Rankings

Orioles and Nationals getting respect in ESPN's power rankings but is it enough?

Orioles and Nationals lineups 7/9/2014

The Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals play today in the Battle of the Beltways, it is the second game of the series after last nights game was postponed.  I expect Bud Norris to be a little rusty today with the off day yesterday. The Orioles and Nationals will be playing in Camden Yards with American League rules so the DH will play.  The Orioles really needed an off day after all the extra innings that they have played.

The Nats will be sending Doug Fister to the mound, he is having another great season.

Orioles took over Nationals park, will it happen to Camden

The Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals play less than an hour apart.  A lot of the fanbase is shared and mixed in.  It was obvious Monday that tons of Orioles fans were at Nationals Park.  There were so many Orioles fans that when Anthony Rendon hit a home run an Orioles fan caught it and threw it back.  Something that usually does not happen in a teams home ballpark.  Read more about Orioles took over Nationals park, will it happen to Camden
