Baltimore Blast, Among Others, Will Form New League

The PASL announced that The Blast will be joining with PASL teams and former MISL teams to form a new indoor soccer league. The Milwaukee Wave, St. Louis Ambush, Missouri Comets, Rochester Lancers and Syracuse Silver Knights are among the teams from the MISL to join the new league. The new league will have around 20 teams. The PASL has 20 teams at the moment, and it is yet to be decided which teams from the PASL will join the new league. Blast Leave MISL

Wednesday Blast owner, Ed Hale, announced that the Blast had been released from the United Soccer Leagues, which operates the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). The Blast will look to join the 20 team Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL). Hale had pushed for a MISL-PASL merger in the past, but the USL decided against it. Milwaukee, Syracuse, Rochester, and Missouri were also released. Read more about Blast Leave MISL
