Harvey Shut Down for the Year

Dan Duquette announced today that Hunter Harvey will miss the remainder of the season. Harvey’s elbow was bothering him and he was diagnosed with an elbow strain and inflammation, according to Dan Connolly. Harvey is not expected to need surgery.

Orioles Minor League Player of the Week: Jason Esposito

While there were plenty of standout minor league players in the Baltimore Orioles organization this past week, Jason Esposito of the Frederick Keys was outstanding. The third baseman went 10 for 26 (.385), with 6 runs, 1 double, 4 HRs, 6 RBIs, and 1 SB in the seven games of the week for Frederick.

Delmarva Shorebirds catcher/designated hitter Chance Sisco is putting up monster numbers this season for the single-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. Despite being just 19-years-old, Sisco is hitting .353, with 21 doubles, 40 runs, and 48 RBIs in 72 games this season for Delmarva.
