Capitals vs. Wild; Breaking the road loss streak!
Tonight the Washington Capitals (39-19-6) head to St. Paul to the Xcel Energy Center, to take on the Minnesota Wild (32-25-7). The Caps have a chance to break this four game losing streak on road games. After a punishing 3-0 loss at the hands of Winnipeg on Thursday. The Caps face the last of the thirty teams in the NHL. March will be a busy month for Washington, having 16 or their last 18 regular season games being this month. Which will include three back to back games and an even split of eight home games and eight away games.
In regards to standings in the NHL seven of the top fifteen teams are from the Metropolitan division. Washington stands at the top of Metro division. The rest of Washington’s games will all be in the Eastern time zone. Minnesota has been hot lately, scoring 17 goals in three games. Lines for the Caps will be kept the same.
