Capitals vs Penguins, another chapter in the Crosby vs Ovechkin rivalry

The Capitals play Pittsburgh today after winning both games in Buffalo. Pitt is coming off of two losses. The second game left room for areas to improve upon in this game.

During the game with Buffalo, the Caps took 5 minor penalties. While Vitechek did not allow a goal during the five power plays, Pittsburgh does have a more skilled team. Cutting back on penalties will be a focus in todays game and going forward.

The Caps have also given up goals early in the third period in consecutive games. While teams do score goals, this is showing that the team is letting up a bit defensively in the third. Look for this to be worked on in this game and upcoming games.
