Capitals Championship Celebration Continues All Day Saturday
Thursday night the Washington Capitals beat the Vegas Golden Knights in game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final to win the Stanley Cup for the first time in their forty four history.
The fans wasted no time celebrating this historic feat.
Saturday, after returning victoriously to DC, the Washington Capitals celebrated all day long. The Capitals started the day attending the Washington Nationals game against the San Francisco Giants. Alex Ovechkin was given the honor of throwing the first pitch-and then the second pitch.

The Capitals proceeded to stay for the entirety of the game-a 7-5 Nationals victory- while partying the entire time.

From there, the Capitals went to Georgetown and enjoyed a nice dip in a fountain.
