The Washington Redskins enter tonight’s second preseason game against the visiting Cleveland Browns on ESPN’s Monday Night Football (8:00 pm @FedEx Field).

The Browns, coming off a week one loss to the Detroit Lions 13-12, will be led by quarterback Brian Hoyer, who was named the starter for tonight’s game by Head Coach Mike Pettine. Though Hoyer will take the first snaps of the night, rookie Quarterback Johnny Manziel will see action with the first team throughout the first half.

The Redskins welcome back wide receivers Pierre Garcon and Desean Jackson, after both players missed last week’s game against the New England Patriots due to injury. With both players returning to the lineup, starting Quarterback Robert Griffin III should see more opportunities in the passing game. Last week Griffin attempted four passes, completing two, for nine yards, on his only drive of the game that resulted in a Kai Forbath field goal. The Redskins went on to defeat the Patriots 23-6.

Tonight will mark the return of former Redskins’ offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan, who currently holds the same position in Cleveland. Quarterback Rex Grossman, who recently signed with the Browns, also returns to FedEx Field. Both Shanahan and Grossman were with the Redskins from 2010-2013.
