Blue Jays show lack of class while getting eliminated

Warnings have been issued during both games and it all started because of the Blue Jays Marcus Stroman tried to hit Caleb Joseph in the head.  The Blue Jays were mad at Joseph for a play he made on defense but it was a completely legal play.  Stroman was suspended six games for throwing at Joseph’s head.

Tuesday night when the Orioles were on their way to clinching the Blue Jays nailed Nick Markakis in the back.  Markakis got hit right on the letters of his jersey.  The pitch did not look intentional but it was one that should not have happened.

Blue Jays manager John Gibbons had some growing up to do as well.  Gibbons while his team was down and pretty much out of the game was seen yelling at the umpires from the bench.  The Blue Jays were out of the game and out of the race at that point and the umpires did a very good job all game keeping calls far.  The yelling from Gibbons was completely unnecessary.

Jose Batista was the exception, even though a bad call went Bautista way he still went about things the right way.  A bad strike call was called against Batista and he told the umpire he was not happy but he did not have a fit about it.  Batista just went back in the dugout.

There is a right way to lose and a wrong way to lose. Complaining and trying to hurt others is the wrong way to lose.

Update: Steve Pearce hits two home runs against the Blue Jays Wednesday night and gets thrown at. Another head shot attempt for the Blue Jays, both benches warned unfairly.

Jonathan Schoop was also hit by a pitch.
