Bears end successful home stand against rival Pens

The Hershey Bears end their current four game home stand Tuesday night against the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins. The last time the Bears and Penguins played was back on February 22nd in Wilkes-Barre Scranton. It would be Riley Barber who would pot a hat-trick and help rally the Hershey Bears to a 4-2 win over the Penguins.

The Bears are currently on another point streak, as they were the last time the two teams played. Hershey will look to grab points in seven straight games and continue their playoff push.

Because of the previous two extended point streaks the Bears sit in third place in the Atlantic division. Hershey trails second place Bridgeport, who they just routed at home on Sunday 5-1, by just four points. Currently the Hershey Bears have a three point advantage over the fourth place Providence Bruins and an eight point lead over their opponents on Tuesday the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins.

Puck drop for Tuesday nights matchup in set for just after 7pm at the Giant Center. Check out @MDsportsblogDC for updates of the Bears and Penguins live.
