Baltimore Ravens sign Ray Rice to long-term deal

The Baltimore Ravens have signed running back Ray Rice to a long-term deal. Rice has been the Ravens feature running back since his second season. Last season Rice had 12 rushing touchdowns and 3 receiving touchdowns.

With Rice signing a long-term deal he avoids the franchise tag and saves the Ravens some salary cap space. The Ravens also want to sign quarter back Joe Flacco to a long-term deal. Rice’s deal is for 40 million through five years, according this tweet by Aaron Wilson.
