Baltimore Ravens Sign 15 Undrafted Free Agents
With the Baltimore Ravens starting rookie mini camp starting today, the Ravens finally released which undrafted free agents (UDFA) they signed.
In alphabetical order,
Jaelon Acklin, WR, Western Illinois
Randin Crecelius, OL, Portland State
Gus Edwards, RB, Rutgers,
Justin Evans, OG, South Carolina State
Alvin Jones, ILB, UTEP
Christian LaCouture, DE, Louisiana State
Andre Levrone, WR, Virginia
Mason McKendrick, LB, John Carroll (D-III)
Trent Sieg, LS, Colorado State
Alex Thompson, C, Monmouth
Mark Thompson, RB, Florida
De’lance Turner, RB, Alcorn State
Kaare Vedvik, P, Marshall
Darious Williams, DB, Alabama Birmingham
Keep in mind, the Ravens have had an UDFA make the 53 man roster for 12 consecutive seasons, so bet the mortgage on one of these players making the team. In my opinion, I would predict that either Darious Williams or Christian LeCouture makes the team. Defensive end and the secondary are two positions the Ravens love having depth in.
Running backs Gus Edwards and Mark Thompson are also decent choices, since the Ravens lost both Terrence West and Danny Woodhead this offseason and have not signed nor drafted any replacements.
