Baltimore Ravens rookies arrive for mini camp before main camp opens

The Baltimore Ravens rookies have arrived at training camp in Owings Mills, Maryland, as of yesterday July eleventh. They will now get a seven day head start on the veteran players who are set to report next week (July 18). The Ravens and Bears will be participating in this years Hall of Fame game. With the participation in the game those two teams are eligible to begin training camp earlier than the rest of the league. The majority of NFL players/teams are set to report to camp in two weeks.

Rookies to watch at camp include:
First round tight end Hayden Hurst
First round quarterback Lamar Jackson (every first round quarterback in the last ten years has started during either their first or second season. The last time it didn’t happen was Aaron Rodgers. He was a first round quarterback that waited more than two years for his first start, of course he sat behind Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre.)
offensive tackle Orlando Brown
linebacker Kenny Young
