Baltimore Ravens Free Agents: Unrestricted Free Agents

These players will be free to negotiate with all teams when the new season begins on the March 13th.

Terrell Suggs: The great Raven may have been played his last game in a purple jersey. He finished the season with seven sacks, but his production dropped off during the second half of the season. While the Ravens may offer him a contract in the 3M+ range, but chances are he will get a bigger offer from a team with serious pass rush needs.

John Brown: He betted on himself by signing a one-year deal and it paid off. Before the Ravens switched to Lamar Jackson, he showed he can be productive deep threat. He never got on the same page with Lamar and I do not expect the Ravens to give him an offer.

C.J. Mosley: The Ravens have reportedly been in contract negotiations with C.J. but it is unclear and unlikely they will find common ground. The Ravens would have to break the bank to keep him with estimates saying that the four-time Pro Bowler can get a 5/75M in the open market. If the Ravens want to keep him they will have to open up their checkbooks or maybe C.J. will give them a hometown discount.

Robert Griffin III: Gave a lot of help in developing Lamar Jackson and both him and the Raven expressed interest in a reunion. But will another team give him a chance to compete for a start? If he does come back it will be his last option and possibly right before the season starts.

Maxx Williams: Never really developed in the receiving threat everyone thought he would be coming out of college. The athleticism was always clearly there but injuries and lack of speed brought down his production. This season he showed ample skill as a blocker and a reunion is likely.

Brent Urban: The Canadian defensive end is one of the biggest dudes on the team and fills up space and time on the rotation well. Despite having no injuries this season it was a lack luster season but will probably get an offer and may chose to return.

Ty Montgomery: A shifty running back/receiver was a good third piece for the running back corp. Even with his skill at pass blocking the Ravens are going to want to upgrade at this position.

Za’Darius Smith: The former fourth rounder has developed into a fan favorite and compiled 8.5 sacks this season. An exterior and interior rusher he will command a hefty price tag in the open market, do the Ravens compete for him or look for the next man up? I think the Ravens will make a strong offer to get him to stay.

Javorius Allen: His role disappeared as the season went on. He does have special teams’ value, but you must believe that a running back needy team will give him a better offer.

Nick Boyle: The big man is not much of a receiver with only 200 receiving yards but this will make it easier for the Ravens to keep the important blocker.
