Baltimore Ravens 2021 Schedule

The NFL released the full regular-season schedule for the 2021 year on Wednesday night, seeing the Ravens open their season week one at the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday night. The Ravens will be no strangers to primetime games as they have been given five nationally televised games.

The Ravens once again have a primetime matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night for the Ravens home opener in week two, with another Monday night matchup coming against the visiting Indianapolis Colts in week five. The Ravens will travel to Miami Dolphins for its only Thursday night contest in week ten, wrapping up its primetime games with a Sunday night game against the Cleveland Browns at home.

The Ravens received the max number of primetime games, likely due to the electric play of quarterback Lamar Jackson. The “Lamar Jackson” effect gives the Ravens a chance to show the entire country their new look offense after adding receiver Sammy Watkins in free agency, and drafting receivers Rashod Bateman and Tylan Wallace in last months NFL draft.

Beginning this year teams will play 17 games. With the additional game the scheduled bye week for each team is an important date to key in on. The Ravens were given their bye week in week eight, leaving them to play ten games to play to finish the season. The Ravens currently have the second hardest schedule, based on 2020 opponent records.

The Ravens have a division heavy second half of the year playing the Browns and Steelers two games apiece in their final seven games. The Ravens finish their 2021 season at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 18.
