Balfour deal off and other Orioles notes

Grant Balfour failed his physical and the Baltimore Orioles have decided that the deal is off. This means the Orioles will have to find another closer.

Tommy Hunter right now is the Orioles closest thing to a closer.  The Orioles are looking for a new closer and possible free agents.

Orioles reliever Troy Patton has been suspended for 25 games for violating the leagues drug prevention program. Patton will be on the restricted list until the suspension is over. Patton tested positive for amphetamine.

Patton has had trouble with drugs and alcohol before so this may be a concern for the Orioles.
