After crushing game one loss in Houston, O’s look to get game two win: Lineups 6/8/19

After a crushing walkoff loss to the Houston Astros in game one, the Baltimore Orioles look to get back on track in game two at Minute Maid Park.

Baltimore put up a great stand against the hottest team in the American League, but it just was not enough. The Astros walked it off in the bottom of the eleventh inning with a double by catcher Robinson Chirinos.

Though a win in the books, the result was very controversial. The final play at the plate was under review because it looked like Yulieski Gurriel did not touch home plate to score the game-winning run. But, the review from New York called the runner safe, ending the game.

But game one is now in the rearview mirror. The Orioles will send Andrew Cashner to the mound for game two. The Astros will fight back with young lefty Framber Valdez.

The club also made another roster move before today’s game, as righty reliever Brandon Kline, who gave up the winning run last night, was sent down to Triple-A Norfolk. Righty reliever Evan Phillips was recalled from the Tides and is available for today’s game.

Without any further ado, here are today’s starting lineups for game two in Houston!
