AEW Ready To Double Down After Going All In

All Elite Wrestling or what would become AEW anyway, decided to take a chance at changing the game in pro wrestling. September 1, 2018 at the Sears Centre in Chicago AEW went “All In” as they launched their first wrestling PPV. Resounding response from the fans showed that pro wrestling was not only ready but eager for a change. Stacking the card with talent and putting the spotlight back on wrestling AEW delivered a game changer and now they are ready to raise the stakes at “Double Or Nothing”

AEW is an American professional wrestling promotion founded in 2019. Its inception was announced by entrepreneurs Shahid and Tony Khan who with Shahid being the promotions main investor and Tony wearing two hats as president and CEO of the company. Former Ring Of Honor, New Japan and WWE superstar Cody Rhodes alongside “The Young Bucks” Matt and Nick Jackson and Kenny Omega create the foundation of this highly anticipated promotion. WWE icon Chris Jericho recently signed and along with Omega were clearly the hottest free agents on the market.

Taking the next step it was critical to do it right and work off the momentum of “All In” AEW hit the jackpot when they announced “Double Or Nothing” May 25 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Headlining this massive event is the continuing feud between Omega and Jericho and that news helped push a sellout in just 4 minutes when tickets went on sale. Drawing top tier talent has been easy as all four members of the foundation of AEW have all the right contacts and friends who understand that the game is indeed changing. Winning tag team of the year back to back years has propelled the Jackson brothers to the top of the food chain in the tag division. Rhodes has been blasting the need for change everywhere he goes and people are listening.
