The Towson Tigers delivered once again this past Saturday, beating The Citadel 44-27. Tom Flacco and the Tigers were able to give the fans at home a real treat with a solid all around team performance. Flacco lead the way with 15-22 completions to pass attempts, 253 yards, two touchdowns through the air, and one interception. On the ground, the Tigers were also lead by Flacco, who accumulated some monster totals. Flacco rushed on 15 carries for 185 yards and two scores.

Towson is really starting to make some buzz in the College Football world as they have moved up in the Top-25 rankings of the FCS. Towson moves up in STATS FCS Poll from their previous ranking of No. 25, to No. 23 and joins the AFCA FCS Coaches Poll for the first time since 2014, slotting at No. 24. The Tigers were right on the cusp of the coaches poll last week being the first bubble team.
