#23 Towson Hosts #13 Stoney Brook This Saturday

The #23 Towson Tigers football team will play host to the #14 Stoney Brook Seawolves this Saturday in a massive showdown at Johnny Unitas Stadium. This is the first time that Towson will be hosting a Top-25 FCS matchup since their 2013 FCS championship run. Stoney Brook has faired better in the matchups lately, having won their past two meetings. The Tigers have not beaten the Seawolves since the 2015 season.

Towson will need to rely heavily on their Quarterback Tom Flacco, who is fresh off a huge performance against the Citadel, in which he ran and threw the ball extremely well. With a staggering 438 yards of total offense vs. The Citadel, Flacco was selected as the STATS FCS National Offensive Player of the Week.

Prediction: Towson rides Flacco late to get into field goal range. Aiden O’Neill kicks a field goal as time expires to beat Stoney Brook 30-27.
