Looking to Break Out

Pitcher Christian Alvarado is looking to improve on his numbers to start the year. Coming into tonight’s game, he’s 1-1 with a 9.00 ERA. He’ll need to keep the ball down against the Salem lineup, or else it’s going to be a short night for him.

Pregame Prediction

The Keys have the talent to run up the score quick, fast, and in a hurry. Everything just hasn’t clicked yet. It will come with time, but for tonight, it will tough against Salem’s pitcher Dedgar Jimenez, who’s 2-0 on the year with a 3.00 ERA. He’s gone at least 5 innings in both of his starts this year. Unless the Keys can get off to a strong start, this is going to be a tough game.
