Caps and Wizards both win division titles

Image result for wizardsThe Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards will both be heading to the playoffs this year.  For the first time in history both the Caps and the Wizards won their respected divisional titles.  We follow the Caps extensively  you can find at BetPhoenix great NBA basketball predictions.  This is the first time in history that both the Caps and the Wizards earned divisional titles this season.  

For the Wizards they started off the season to a slow start but really finished the season strong.  The Same can be said about the Caps who had a really strong middle part of the season and several long winning streaks.  The Caps and Wizards both play in the same building so it is a special moment for both organizations who are very connected to each other.

Star players for the Wizards helped them reach 48 wins with only 31 losses.  John Wall and Bradley Beal have carried the Wizards on their shoulders.  Wall is a special talent who could carry just about any team.

For the Caps the usual suspects like Alex Ovechkin, Nick Backstrom and TJ Oshie were exceptional this season.  The Caps had the most complete teams in the league, even getting contributions from the fourth line.  Daniel Winnick and Jay Beagle who are fourth line players both contributed 12 goals each.  The entire Caps team dominated game in and game out while currently holding a 54-18-8 record.  The Caps won the Presidents Cup for the second season in a row.

Hopefully the Caps and the Wizards can bring Championships to the Nations Capitals.
