Wizards Win Fifth Straight Over Timberwolves

Nene_John_WallThe Washington Wizards continued their dominance at home putting a beating to the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Wizards started the game with intimidating defense and ended with an high powered offensive attack. The only lead the Timberwolves had was from the first shot of the game to give them a 2-0 lead. The Wizards clearly dominated throughout the entire game and ended up with a 109-95 victory.

Ravens report card: The defense and special teams 12/14/2014

The Baltimore Ravens beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 20 to 12.  For the report card on the offense go here. 

Defensive Line: This was a near historic day for the defensive line.  The Ravens had eight sacks in this game and this unit combined with the linebackers saved the day for the Ravens.  Timmy Jernigan had two sacks and is looking like a keeper.  Grade A++ Read more about Ravens report card: The defense and special teams 12/14/2014

Ravens place Taliaferro, Brooks, Jackson on injured reserve

The Baltimore Ravens have made a ton of roster moves today, placing three players on injured reserve.  The Ravens played Lorenzo Taliferro, Terrence Brooks and Asa Jackson on injured reserve.  The Ravens have also promoted Ryan Jensen from their practice squad.  Defensive tackle Casey Walker has been signed from the New England Patriots practice squad.   Read more about Ravens place Taliaferro, Brooks, Jackson on injured reserve

Wall Earns Eastern Conference Player of the Week

Wall was able to lead the Wizards to a perfect 4-0 record over the week and continued to show he is one of the best point guards in the league. The Wizards star player continued to come up during clutch moments to lead his team to impressive victories. Johnny Football embarrasses himself in first career start

I have said all along that the Cleveland Browns starting quarterback,Johnny Manziel aka Johnny “Football” will be one of the biggest busts the NFL has seen. Tons of hype has been thrown at Manziel by ESPN who for some reason made him out to be a football god. Like I predicted Manziel did not even fair average in his first career start. What Next for the Washington Redskins?

redskinsThere are just two weeks left in this season but for the Washington Redskins and their fans it probably feels like an eternity. The season has been a disaster for the Redskins and I am sure all parties involved just want it to end. Injuries and inconsistent play have set back the development of Robert Griffin III. Jay Gruden’s authority and control of the team seems weak at best with more and more players vocalizing their frustration. The questions on everybody’s mind is what does Washington do next? Wizards Rally After Slow Start, Defeat Jazz 93-84

Beal WallThe Washington Wizards simply lacked effort during the first half of play. Following a big team win against the Los Angeles Clippers Friday night, the Wizards felt as if they would be able to roll over a re-building Utah Jazz team. The Jazz were able to contain the Wizards without one of their star players Derrick Favors, who was out with an ankle injury. The Wizards rallied and overcame the Jazz in the second half to earn a 93-84 victory and improve their home record to 12-2.
