Capitals sign Vanecek

The Washington Capitals have signed their 2014 second-round draft pick Vitek Vanecek to a three-year, entry-level contract. Vanecek is from the Czech Republic and is only 18 years old, he will need some time to adjust to America. I can see Vanecek being in the Capitals long-term plans but not the short term. It is hard to say where Vanecek will start his Capitals career.

Here is the Capitals press release.
