Yes this is a few days late but heck these are the last two report cards of the season so why rush it. For the story on the Ravens losing go here.
Quarterback: Joe Flacco did not have much left in the tank and Tyrod Taylor was warming up several times. It was hard to watch Flacco take hit after hit after he was already injured. Flacco completed 30 out of his 50 passes with three interceptions and one touchdown. Grade C
Running backs: Ray Rice barely played in the first half and was questionable on the injury report. The Ravens only mustered 47 rushing yards using three running backs. Rice did have seven receptions but only 35 receiving yards. Not good enough… as they say. Grade D
Receivers: The receivers were often held and the officials did not call it. Dennis Pitta was the Ravens most valued receiver with eight catches and you have to wonder how some games would have been if he was healthy all season. Marlon Brown was the Ravens best wide receiver with five receptions and a touchdown, he was a gem this season. Grade B
Offensive line: Terrible again, the line could not protect Flacco when it counted and he barely made it through the game. This line may have been the worst the Ravens have ever had. The line fails to open up wholes for the running game and fails to protect the quarterback. Grade F
Overall: In a big game on the road the Ravens started out on fire but the offense failed to deliver. People will look to blame Flacco but the offensive line has been terrible all season. The lack of the run game for an entire season put the Ravens in an identity crisis. Grade D
